By the Nose of my Skin
Had to snigger when I overheard a dame today exclaim over how an insult was "no skin off her teeth".Very Kath & Kim-esque. And yes, she is a bogan with aspirations much higher.
Do the people Kath & Kim poke fun at realise they are the target? Do they see their idiosyncracies and affectations reflected? Or do they pity these "other" people?
